People are putting way too much stock into the UGA win. The dawgs handed that game to the cats on a silver platter. Unless Tennessee decides to turn the ball over 4 or more times, we win going away. Besides, that's the UGA team that we kicked the crap out of this year.

I dunno. This is their super bowl, the closest they will ever get to a national championship...to beat a depleted Tennessee team and finish 2nd in the East? They'd hang a banner.

And break the losing streak.

They'll probably bring their best game of the season... they know this will be their best chance for a decade to break it.

Don't know about everyone else, but my concerns have nothing to do with KY's win over GA, but more to do with our injury-(& otherwise!)riddled defense as evidenced by the way Vandy moved the ball against us.

Our defense was in a lot better shape on Oct 10 than it is now.... thats my cause for concern.

I think if we win this game its in a shootout.

I'm thinking that the Vols will have to score often...then score some more in order to pull out the W. But then, we do have CMK for DC, maybe he can pull a rabbit or two out his hat...:hi:

UT will see a lot of the wildcat package. It's easy to see that with our thin LB, and DB cores. We can't cover ground very well. But KY can't stop our offense either.

Final score UT 31-24

Don't count on it. If we can run the ball, don't expect Joker to depend on his freshman QB's arm to light up the scoreboard.

Let me rephrase my point... I think UK will score several TDs on us... so we'll have to keep up in order to win.

I'm thinking both teams might score in the 30s.

it's scary to think that the winner of this game will finish 2nd in the east... not that that means anything but not many people at the beginning of the season thought UT or Kentucky would finish 2nd

I will definately be betting the 'over' in this game. It will be a shootout, but then again, so have a lot of UT - UK games over the years.

I know when has this game ever meant anything to anyone other than another arse whipping to UK?

i don't think theres much chance they run all over us. however, they've got to try. passing is not an option for UK. our D is banged up and bruised for sure and it won't be the beatdown i'd like to enjoy, but i think we win.

If we keep them at 24 points or under, it's in the bag. Even with a depleted defense, that should be reasonable against KY.

Their D can't stop our O. Joe Cox made their D look much better than what reality says.

I think we get Thompson back this week and Janzen hopefully....If we get those 2 back our defense should be just fine if we dont take any injury during the game...

I think the Wildcat is gonna be tough but they really dont have a lot of talent outside of Cobb. If I was Monte it would be...an anywhere Cobb goes Berry you go...type game.

In our six wins we have scored at least 31 points every time.

In our 5 losses we have scored no more than 22 points.

Does anyone really think UK will hold us to less than 22 points? Their run defense sucks and their passing defense isn't the best in the world either.
