We were the better team

I agree that we are the better team, but we didn't deserve to win. Too many turnovers, penalties, and mental mistakes.

It could be said that Appalachian state, or Florida, or Georgia were the better team than the Vols. But who won each of those games? Tennessee did.

The Aggies play their worst game of the season. Trevor Knight played horribly. If he plays like this against Alabama, we lose by four touchdowns. He couldn't complete a forward pass.

At the end of the day, Texas A&M found a way to win just like Tennessee did against Appalachian State, Georgia, and Florida.

Your guys did. Congratulations. Much respect for the way your guys behaved with O'Brien's injury. Best wishes for the rest of your season. Beat Bama.

Our coach also made some boneheaded calls. I don't understand why we lined up in the shotgun three different times when we had third and 1 yard.

Tennessee played a great game. That offense is dynamic when Dobbs is running the ball. He is much better throwing on the run then he is throwing in the pocket.

I think you guys beat Alabama next week. They won't be able to cover your receivers, your running backs, or Dobbs.

We have a chance to beat Alabama if Trevor Knight gets his head out of his butt and learns how to complete passes at least a 60 to 65% rate.

UT was not the better team today.

They were arguably the higher ceiling team, but they played far too sloppy and undisciplined to be considered the better team (at least on THIS day).

I'd love to have a rematch in the SEC championship game when both teams are fully healthy.

Trayveon Williams is going to be a stud.

Let's both beat Alabama the next two weeks!

On a sidenote, I teach at a high school outside of Knoxville. Three of my students will be wearing Aggie shirts the entire week once we get back from fall break the week after next. If Tennessee had won, I would have had to buy them each a pizza.

I'm still going to buy each of them a pizza.

Your guys play tough. Your game against Bama will be a slugfest. Best wishes on the health of your team.

Having been to a couple of Vol games, I can say that Texas A&M fans and Tennessee fans have many things in common. We are both passionate about our teams, and most of our fans are very friendly to opposing fans.

It's interesting that our teams have shared a kind of common history. You guys fired Fulmer; we fired Slocum. Both coaches were really good coaches for their teams. You guys won the national championship in 1998; we were in the sugar bowl that same year.

Both teams have been waiting a long time for a winner. I would love to have both teams at the top of the SEC East and West for as long as possible.
