We walked into a hostile environment missing 3 of our NFL caliber defensive players and our starting RB, lost about 5 starters to injury during the course of the game, had a BS ejection, and a myriad of bad calls and non-calls by the officials and still....STILL took this game to double overtime! Just look at the stats. We put nearly 700yds total offense on A&M. We were supposed to get blown out according to the talking heads at ESPN. We are 5-1 for the first time since Clinton was in office. We will likely be a 2 loss team by the end of the season. For sthe last decade, we've been so desperate to just get to 500 that collectively we would have killed our firstborn to get to where we are. Be proud and celebrate the rise to relevance once again. VFL

O'Shucks guys. You're right. I guess we just suck. I'm going to go beat my wife and kick my dog and burn the trailer down.
Fire Butch!

I totally agree. If we had not out the ball on the ground 7 times we would have won this game by 20+ points.. I love the grit this team shows and they never give up. Kudos to Malik Foreman for an all out hustle play to give us the chance to take the game into OT. It's a shame this team is beat to crap the week before the Bama game. We'll be playing a lot of guys that most fans have never even heard of next week but I can promise they won't back down and they definitely won't quit. You gotta love this team!

Whoever predicted this as a blowout was/is stupid. UT has done everything possible to show it has more heart and maybe more depth than anyone else. I doubt any of the other decent teams could lose all those starters and still nearly beat a top ten team on the road.

UT is a monster. Regardless of depth. This game only proves it more imo. Clean up the turnovers and some of those calls, and UT wins. But Texas A&M eked it out.

yes. But Burch doesnt have this team focused. I see a team that rightly prepared could lead the SEC in offense. Too many lapses and too much stubborn personel decisions. RichmonD never should have played and Thomas should have been allowed to heal his ankles.

no, so many turn overs..

not better team.

so many flags..

not better team.

we should be better but until these young men realize this..bad starts and fumbles and stuff will continue.

smart foot ball is what we are lacking.

its not coaching its the young men understanding this.

Let's not be Austin Appleby here. They won. We lost. Next game up.

Right on, brother.

I'm one of those folks who believe, if you're the better team (THAT DAY), you win the game. Because it's all part of the game. Yes, even the turnovers. And the penalties. And the weather. And the venue. And the blown calls by the refs (which usually break both ways over the course of the game).

On any given day, any team can play beyond itself, or can play beneath itself. What's important is what team you are the day of the game, and what team the other guys are on the field against you.

If you win, you celebrate while displaying good sportsmanship. If you lose, you salute the other team, then snap and clear, go get ready for the next game.

Exactly. Their play forced a lot of those turnovers. Back when UT beat VT, almost everyone slammed the VT posters for the "we were the better team but beat ourselves" mindset because they had a bazillion fumbles.

You are what you are. UT was a SEVEN turnover team today.

We are the better team and I'd say quite a bit better. And that's with missing about 7 guys on d and 7 TOs.

The better team on a given day never has 7 turnovers. That's part of the game. BUT, we can win out and be in the playoffs. We WILL beat Alabama next Saturday.

We are the better team...mistakes took the game from us. 7 turnovers and it took Double OT for them to win. We clean this up and we WILL ROLL!!! GET SOME!!!

Usually I don't like saying we were the better team after a loss, but we were and it's not even close. We beat ourselves and still almost won. A&M is not beating Bama or even LSU for that matter. Ole miss. A&M =Exposed.
