Perfect opening game to wake the monster.

Check my post history - when I say book it - I mean BOOK IT. Called the Georgia win last year.

Again, I'll take any and all tickets that are being sold at face value from those that fell off the wagon.

I like your confidence!
I do not think Va Tech will be as good as App State. They were a legit top 25 team. I have already eaten my crow for underestimating them. I honestly believe they will beat Miami by a couple of TD's. That being said, let's not underestimate Va Tech either. My heart can't handle another game like that...lol.

After what you saw last night?

Sure we will.

And btw, Florida is scared of us even more!

I sure hope your screen name isn't an indication of how you came to this conclusion.

If I know what the roller coaster of being a UT fan is like then next week:

We whip VT

UK beats UF

App State beats Miami

And then we will lose to UF the following week after we feel like things are back on track....

I'm not so confident. App State just showed all of our opponents that if they shut down our run game, they have a great shot at beating us if we are forced to pass. I don't want to judge Dobbs or Debord on this one game. Maybe Dobbs was just not prepared to have to pass because they didn't expect App State to be able to shut down our run. Or, maybe Dobbs has just not improved at all and we're going to struggle big time in the passing game again. Debord called like what, 6 plays last night? I have to hope that he was just keeping the playbook shut, but I'm not going to lie I'm really concerned.

Aint no one scared of us right now. You know the whole country was watching us last night to see if the hype was true, and they found out that we were not what was being told.

If we beat UF I might just burn Lexington down

I think we play better and we win. That said, I'm a little standoffish about this team "stomping" anybody. Every team every season has it's own identity, I did not see a team with the mean streak it takes to stomp anybody last night. I hope it shows up especially before 9/24/16.

Heck, I called Army's wins against Bucknell and Eastern Michigan last year, too.

Of course, what I'm not telling you is how I also called for Army to win the other 10 games (all of which they lost).

Check my stats. Check my post history. BOOK it. :)

Our offense is predictable and feckless. Our defense is porous and consistently out of position....applied zero pressure all night long. Even our punt return and punt coverage teams were bad. Not sure where you're getting your optimism but more power to you. I'll give you kudos next week after the game if we do indeed do a full 180 and look like a D1 football team again.

I see where you are man. BUT.... if they judge our potential based on 1 game we played badly against a team that looks like a top 25 team, they are the ones making a mistake. The talent is there. I know many are down on the coaching staff right now. I will grant they didn't have their best game last night either. However, look at how far we have come since Dooley and let's not go jumping off of the roof and burning mattresses just yet. Butch Jones may not be Vince Lombardi, but he has had us treading steadily upward for a long time now as a program.
