I would say merge this w the numerous other drug-related threads. But the search is not currently working :/

I agree forum sherriff maybe you should spend the rest of the night individually looking at all the drug threads so you can move this one to it.

You haven't seen anything yet, Golf. Just wait until the lesbian, black, atheist, pot smoking teen selling water on his sidewalk happens.

What does that have to with anything. Anyways, I don't think golf lives near me.

I mean, when you consider why weed is illegal anyway (big pharma in the mid 20th century and crazy religious people terrified to lose money) it's pretty hard to classify it as a drug to begin with. A drug is man made after all.

But, truth of the matter is, if we put less importance on punishing drug abuse (for addicts at least, not necessarily dealers) and more on rehabilitation like many more successful countries in this area, we would be in a far better spot in the "war on drugs" of which we literally have never even been close to in the lead of winning.

Almost as effective as the money spent on the War on Poverty

just sayin'

I thought we were simply killing all the poor people slowly over time by denying them healthcare and education? Sadly it doesn't really work when we also want to make abortions illegal, as stupid and poor people seem to have the most kids anymore, Idiocracy style. You'd think the best way to limit poverty would be to set up how many kids you could have based on income. Can't have more poor people if they stop being born after all.
