where to start with all of the inaccuracies...
Leavitt was offered by Alabama several years back, he still hangs on to the contract in his office for a joke.
Leavitt is not leaving USF. He was pursued by Bama, Kansas State (former coach there), and others and has not left yet... even when he was only making several hundred thousand a year (he is making roughly $1mill/yr now or close to it). He grew up in St. Pete and graduated from Dixie Hollins High School in St. Pete. He is the only coach ever at USF, EVER. He has built EVERYTHING, so no reason to believe he would leave at this point when everything is really starting to get good.
USF does not have a bunch of academic rejects on their roster. Big East as a conference does not allow the semi-qualified athletes like some other conferences or programs. USF is held to the same standard as UT, UF, FSU, etc.
Jenn Sterger is not paid to come to USF games. She is from the Tampa area and has been to at least 2-3 different USF games.
