What flo rida state does is recruit the kids who want to come to fsu. If you notice they get kids to commit early in the year. If a player is not a heavy lean to fsu, then fsu wont go after them.

I know Miami picked up a couple of commits during the US Army AA bowl. It brings back memories of Adam Myers White, Raymond Henderson, Slick Shelly, etc. you get the picture.

It won't make a difference. There is way too much talent in FL to thin it among 3 other schools, and even high profile schools around the country raid FL and it doesn't diminish UF. Remember, even FAU made a bowl game this year and they are almost exclusively recruiting in state. The only way to weaken the amount of talent at UF is going to be done internally, i.e. a bad HC hire (if CUM ever leaves). Even then, UF will still have talent.

Bowden once said...a typical year there are 85 D1 prospects in Fla. We get 15, UF gets 15 and UM gets 15 that leaves alot of good players for everyone else.
