We joke about him being "Field General 2 star" or what not.

But look at the LEADERSHIP we have lost on defense.

He's not very good, but our strength is our DLine. Colton getting them lined up is pivotal...

Gaulden
McDowell
TK have to step up!

If Colton Jumper isn't at LB today, we lose to Ohio.

It's time we stop ragging on the kid...

Colton looked better today than he has any game this year or last. I know of one play where he let his man go free but when compared to Mosely that was a drop in the hat.
Don't get it twisted though. Would rather see Kirkland any day of the week but he filled the void respectably today.

We need Colton, Cortez,Kelly etc.

Defense is gonna have to earn that Orange Swarm nickname. Run to the ball, run our feet, and gang tackle!

Maybe it's like I feel about some other players. Maybe he needs to actually play long enough or just play and he will be alright.

We've got some guys that really need some playing time. So we can build our depth a little deeper.

Moseley makes Justin Coleman look like Cam Sutton. He is a serious liability back there. Buchanan is as green as they come and he had a better game than Moseley imo

Maybe because he played talent on par with his skill set?

We need to rotate our DEs more.
Keep Barnett fresh. Vereen.

Tuttle might hit some soreness here pretty soon. We've still got a good amount of talent out there.

TK needs to play a lot better. God our CBs need to learn to play the ball!!

maybe, but coaching has to address this issue fast.

#12 is fast but some coach has to teach this kid to turn around and look for the ball.

I appreciate your courage for a positive note on C Jumper. He has some challenges, but he has some real strengths. getting the defense in position was evident.

Absolutely. I feel like practice habits are important but gameday performance is the deciding factor on who ahould play. A lot of guys, like Moseley, are great in practice but don't play well when the lights come on. We need to play the guys with a nose for the ball

Nick Reviz comes to mind. Had some competitive defenses with him at MLB.

Obviously the defensive players have a comfort level with Colton.

We have a star MLB... but hes hurt.

So we're actually kind of fortunate we have another guy that knows our defense and how to "set" it.

You can't just throw anyone out there. MLB has to process a good amount of presnap info. Formations...perosnel... lineman stance... down and distance... Then they have to know who is on the defense.
