Aww...thats flattering, you're trying to copy UF's approach by naming their stadium something intimidating. :birgits_giggle: Good luck with that... :lame:

There isn't a Clausen alive that finds "The Swamp" intimidating.

Dude, every team has something like that. Isn't there like a Rebel Walk for Ole Miss, Dawg Walk for UGA, Cock Walk ( :birgits_giggle: ) for South Carolina.

And yes everybody, Neyland's official nickname is "The Hill" but Neyland Stadium is just more widely used.

 "The Pond"

Nah, the nickname is "Autzen Zoo" but I don't really hear it used that often.

Sorry, I'm getting pysched up for the football game tonight.

We're gonna take them by suprise... They run a 3-3-5 defense and we played aces and spreads last week in our season opener, so that's the film they've got... But we're going to run option this week.

Since volunteers originally referring to volunteers for the Mexican War, I originally thought, "Battlefield" but that is generic.

I think the best one would be something like the "HORNETS NEST."

This also refers to a Civil War site during the battle of Shiloh which was particularly hot and deadly (this battle was also in Tn).

How about "The Pumkin Patch"? Sure it's not really intimidating, but who doesn't like going to a pumpkin patch?

Come on . . . at least it was funny. I think the whole idea of nicknaming your stadium is overblown. Neyland Stadium has enough of an identity as it is.
