We Must Be Getting Better...

It was clear during the UK game that we’ve hardly improved from last year, if we’ve improved at all.

We probably would beat Ga. State now. I guess that’s a plus. But who knows.

Hopefully we can at least beat Vandy. That is, if the team hasn’t completely quit by that time.

I wouldn't bet on the vandy game. I'm afraid they will just give up.

It took me about 4 weeks to lose my enthusiasm for college football instead of the usual one.
In a typical season the give a damn factor goes out the door by the end of Sept...this year it lasted all the way until mid-Oct. That could be considered progress, but it was still only 4 games.

I love this kind of post because it's like carte blanche on how you respond.

In that spirit, as one of our Founding Fathers once said...

"C'mon, Man!"

1 - 4 at best. Most likely 0 - 5.

I just don’t see CJP making any improvements and I keep reading he will continue to start JG. Recipe for the worst record in our history

People said the same thing last year before we went on a tear and beat everyone we should have. That's why the game is played. I'll watch it until the bitter end as always. Hopefully next year isn't interrupted by this rona madness and we can get back to rebuilding this team. I know people are tired of being in rebuild mode for 12+ years but hey, we ain't very good and that's where we're at until we ain't.

True, but we’ve already played 3 of those teams that we beat during that stretch last season. The teams left on this schedule are much tougher.

I’m starting to think Vols fans would rather have a losing team so they could spend every day for an entire year having something ti whine about.

Sadly, we don't choose whether we have a losing or winning team.

Im 99.9% confident if we could, everyone here would pick a winning team.

We didn't lose this weekend, but GA State did.
That sorta feels like progress

Well, the University sure has consistently provided the fanbase some easy material.
