We lose to Florida again

We could hire Belicheck while Florida hired Butch Jones and they would still beat us more times than we beat them. UF>UT in almost every conceivable way. Think about it. We couldnt beat them with any consistency when we had rosters full of future NFL talent back in the 90's.

I mean now we have very little actual talent. I am going to start putting Florida in the same category as Alabama, a guaranteed season loss.

The question about what the better job was asked a couple of weeks ago and Lawrence Wright basically answered that the Florida job was better because we had a better administration and a better run athletic department.

Not trying to be mean here. Trying to show respect by being brutally honest.

But, over the course of a decade, or maybe longer, and reaching unprecedented ineptitude today.....Tennessee's athletic department is without a doubt the greatest **** show in the history of major college athletics.

If you hired someone to intentionally destroy the athletic department, they could not have done a better job than what the people in charge have done. The only negative they did not achieve was landing on major NCAA probation. But, they've basically done that themselves

I really feel sorry for you all and have never seen anything like this in my life.

The struggle is real.

Tennessee did not lose to Florida. Are you crazy?

Florida hired Dan Mullen. At a minimum, Mullen was their second choice.

Florida fans are not overly enthusiastic about that hire.

As much as I suspect that you and Lawrence are deficient as human beings because you cheer for the University of Florida, you are not wrong about this. If Hollywood sought to concoct a plot for a movie and tapped M. Night Shyamalan to write it, I'm not sure it could be any more bizarre and truly inexplicable than the real events that have transpired at UT over the last two weeks, and today in particular.

If anyone in the Gruden threads was the least bit credible in their predictions of Gruden's interest in this job, I'd surmise that the interest is now gone. In fact, I'd be shocked if we could land anyone other than Kiffin at this point, which now looks pretty appealing, considering the circumstances.
