I don’t care if it’s a lesser opponent, JA throwing for nearly 300 yards in 1 half is crazy! Amazing!

Yes I’m gonna bring Nico up: did he ever get close to this level of production? Even against terrible opponents? I’ll tell you, NO! his best game was against UTC where he threw for 314 in the entire game, not a half like our guy JA!

I’m editing this post to let yall know I’m not gonna edit this post- I don’t care if I’m wrong lol. Go Joey FOOTBALL!!!!!!!

You might want to revise your post.

The contrast between JA and Nico is obvious at this point but JA has had to deal with zero pressure through two games. Will be interesting to see his decision making next week because he won’t have a clean pocket all game.

That being said, it’s obvious why JA is the starter over Merk. Pocket awareness and decision making by JA is lightyears better than Merk.

I'm glad he balled out, but we won't know what we have at QB until the UGA game. That's the litmus test. Syracuse and ETSU are a step below practice. JA gets more resistance from our defense than he got from either of our first two opponents. Folks get worked/hyped up over games vs cupcakes only to come crashing down when we play a top shelf opponent. Next week will tell us a lot about this team.

That’s fair but at the end of the day these cupcakes are still D1 athletes. Will we get a better understanding of this team with next weeks match? Yes, but we can’t totally dismiss these games.

But your right next week is huge.
