Below is a thread started on latechbbb.com. VolNation has been very classy through this whole process, but of course someone has to pose on our board and show their :moon2: We'll let you take care of your own. Best of luck in 2010!!

Dooley lied to all of us (Important Read)

I don't normally sign up on message boards, but I have here to get my message across. CDD lied to all of us La Tech fans. He told us he was going to be here for us and turn us around. There is no doubt in my mind that he would of turned us into the next Boise St after awhile and I know we would of beat LSU every other year in a few more years of CDD hard work. We have had all of our hard work dumped down the drain. There is not another great coach out there that will take this job because most people look at us as a joke school. We only get the left over recruits that were not good enough for the big time schools like where CDD left us for in Tennessee. If we do get another good coach, he'll just leave us too in a few years. I thought CDD was someone I could trust in. I though for certain he was going to be here for many years and turn us into something special.

I feel bad for tech, in their story we are USC and they are the po'd UT fans. Except, wait, Dooley's approach to the job change was handled 1000 times better on every level. (considering the less than 20 hours notice they had)

I can understand his point of view as should many on this board. The guy put his faith in a coach and was let down, however Dooley did turn the program around and hopefully their next coach can build on it. If they had reatined Spangler as the HC, not much would have changed there. They should just be glad that Orgeron was not named their next HC. I think Dooley is a stand up guy who is only trying to advance his career. He did use LaTech as a stepping stone, it is not exactly a destination job. I wish LT good luck in the future. I am not sure why this poster thinks this is trash.

My guess is that the poster thinks one of the Vol fans posted that on their board pretending to be a tech fan. I cannot see how it makes any other sense.

I can understand why the LA Tech fans are upset but I don`t see where his post proved someone from Volnation showed their backside.

Sure he left...he also laid some tremendous ground work for the future there.

People say you can't polish a turd and DD at LATECH proved them wrong!

I guess they think a vol fan posted that. . . but it's not like they were smashing the LT program or at least what I gathered from it they weren't. So I don't know what the deal is.

seriously, what proof is there that this is someone from VN? I've never even seen that site linked on here before.

If you're going to call us out at least provide some sort of evidence
