looks like McCullers did better than Clowney
He is. No INTs until game 7, has big time scrambling ability, and has an arm to rival Aaron Murray.
They are very few teams in the country that wouldn't trade their QBs for him.
A team that has the best defensive player in the country, a top 10 QB, and a top 10 RB.
We beat them with freshmen and walkons and a first year head coach.
Let that sink in. Imagine the Vols under CBJ once he has his players.
We're going to be truly "back" very, very soon.
How lucky did we get when we got Butch?
Our program can only go up. The perennial top teams in the S.E.C. are about to slip either alot or a little bit. Once " O bama", LSU, Florida, UGA have a slight dip in their program, we will be in striking distance to over take them.
Those teams can't stay on top forever. At some point, they will slip to a losing record, or slip in the polls to the 20's, rather than remain in the top 10 or top 15. We need to position ourselves to be in striking distance once they slip.
All we need is for Florida to hire another Ron Zook. Alabama to get another Freddy Kitchen or Mike DuBose or Mike Shula. We need LSU to hire another Gerry DiNardo....
Shaw is legit....haters gonna hate though....gotta give the staff credit....they have out coached Richt and Spurrier in back to back games with WAY less talent but physical well schemed game plans!
