Our talent level is far below Fla, and LSU. I doubt we are better than Ala, SC, Ga, or KY. I wonder if CUSA or the Mountain West needs a new member? :bad::bad::bad::bad:

You sons a bitches are weak

MAN UP WE LOST 1 SEC game to the defending NChampions

Correction - we lost 59-20 to the defending NChampions. We managed less than 50 rushing yards against a defense that lost 9 starters and we scored the same amount of points as we did against a stout gator D last year. One TD was a defensive TD.

And our SP and tackling hasn't improved.

Well today was a prime example to Mr. Hamilton that the game as surpassed Fulmer. There is no way we can compete with the Florida's,LSU's,USC's,and Texas's of the world under Fulmer. And today proved that. This really saddens me, not only was it embarassing, but it showed how much of a gap there is between us and Florida(that was a young Florida team). With the piss-poor recruiting class that looks to be coming to Knoxville, Im afraid to say we are becoming an Ole Miss caliber program.

It's a sad day for the Volnation. :cray:

Uh, we may not be LSU or Florida talent-wise, but I would stack our boys against anyone else in the SEC. Our coaching staff...? Eh, not so much.

I'm sick of hearing these crap phrases. This was an embarrassing loss and because of it we're losing star recruits as we speak.

Quit being so self righteous. Seriously, stop. Our program is taking a nose-dive, and although I'm gonna ride it down with the rest of the true fans... I'm gonna lobby to make some changes.

Anyone remember Johnny Majors....he was the one that had the Mayflower truck in his driveway at the end of the season.....we're three seasons late with Fulmer and Chavez

Funny; last week we noticed a UT shirt for sale on the Strip:

"We may not win 'em all, but we never lost a party!"

I hadn't heard that saying since med school. . . .in Memphis. . . .from my Ole Miss friends.

Speaking of Memphis, it's going to be awfully cool to able to stay in town of New Year's Eve and watch the Vols in the Liberty Bowl

Good point, it doesn't take much for a top notch program to fall from grace, and it's incredibly difficult to reach those levels again once you fall. Just ask Nebraska, 10 years ago they were one of the 3 best programs in the nation, and now even though they are improving, they're still a far, far cry from what they once were.
