New assistant coaches Martinez and Jancek know the state of Georgia well and already have the relationships in place that will allow them to recruit the peach state like we are accustomed to.

If they had been on staff for the entire year Vonn Bell would have been ours. They still were able to flip Josh Dobbs and Ryan Jenkins, and that is just a glimpse of what's to come.

Here's the Atlanta Journal Constitution story:

Starts with Jalen Hurd, got to knock Saban and Meyer out of the way as well as his doorstep Roomate James Franklin, who started attending Jalens church(40 mi from Franklins house) and shows up everywhere Jalen goes. Also Eddie George has been contacted as a mentor and we know of his love for Tennessee. Big uphill fight but kid is a game dominator.

Ive seen thay Franklin attends Hurds church now. Im just skeptical.. Has anyone seen him at the church? The pastor is a huge UT fan and how would he know which service Hurd was attending? They have like 3-4 services every Sunday.

Now go away.

Actually, the truth hurts. Every year people on this board get all excited about this prospect being a lock or that prospect really liked his visit, only to be slammed when they pledge to another University in February. As the saying goes, "fool me once, your fault. Fool me twice, my fault". I will wait till they sign on the dotted line next February.:hi:

If that's the case why are you in this forum in March?

Happens on every board, not just VN. Every team misses on top targets, every year. It's part of the game. If you can't handle the swings don't follow recruiting, it's not for everyone. Personally, I enjoy the roller coaster that we call recruiting.

If anyone can't handle the roller coaster of UT football, it's you, Swanson. You love to make homerific predictions all during the offseason, then when things go south during the year, you're nowhere to be found. Not much respect for you as a poster. Just sayin.
