that all of our former 4-star recruits are SEC caliber. I don’t want to call any names, but there are several familiar names on our roster who haven’t been consistent playmakers and many of us (myself included) have been holding out hope that they’d turn into SEC talents. We were wrong

I watched a lot of football today and we were far and away the worst from a fundamental standpoint. CJP and staff have a long way to go. Hard to coach a team with a losing mentality. This season is about changing that culture.

We’ve got to get past the idea of making excuses for these players. they do read these forums. They simply don’t give effort , they have talent.

Sadly, effort cannot be taught to individuals who have no desire to put forth any without being offered large sums of money by an NFL team. I get it, no one wants to risk injury but at some point you have to play with some heart and I don't think some of the guys on the team have any. If free agency were an option, you could cut them and replace them but we are stuck with having to use many of them until they can be recruited over or graduate.

This is why I don’t put much stock into star ratings and recruiting. I’m not saying ratings mean nothing, but they certainly don’t amount to what many people want to believe they do.

Well why aren’t they? I only saw 2 SEC players on our team. How?

This team isn't an sec caliber team. Or even a power 5 conference team. It has to be the roster. I'm so confused. They can't get better yet Vandy and UK can. What the heck?

Except where landing a top 3 class usually results in a National Championship. That’s all we need.
