Just bought a couple tickets to the World Athletic Championships being held here in Eugene OR this July. Damn tickets are spendy!! Cost a bit over $1,000 for two decent tickets for one evening session (note championship runs 9 days). The really spendy tickets are going for around $8,000 a seat for home straight near the finish line. Just crazy!!

Hard to believe this is the first time the event is taking place in the States.

I think the new stadium helped a lot in bringing it to the US. It's a stunning facility.
