I don't know a thing about WBIR, but I assume they consider themselves a news organization.

If so, one has to wonder how this "commentary" from an author unknown, and an organization unrelated to WBIR(The Sports Network, Philadelphia)... got on WBIR's website.

I know what he's getting at, but I imagine the orange and white towels to be beach towels. It's a far better visual to imagine 100,000 orange and white beach towels waving.

I really wonder how long that took to write (3 minutes is my guess). I'm guessing there's a Kiffin story template available somewhere on the web when a sports writer is up against the clock.

That is strange to be on their site. Poorly written piece. I love how the, 11 players have "left" the program is presented. UTC is a greener pasture?

And here's your template.

University of TN head football coach Lane Kiffin is:

[over his head]
[playing with fire]
[standing on shaky ground]
[taunting the giant]
[unproven]
[stupid]
[Urban Meyer and Nick Saban's lapdog]

and the University of Tennessee:

[should fire him now]
[is a horrible program]
[reported more Kiffin violations today]
[is the only NCAA school to sign troubled players]
[lacks integrity]

What was Mike Hamilton thinking with this move? He must:

[have had too much to drink the day of the interview]
[have been held hostage by Al Davis]
[have a 30 I.Q.]
[be dumb to have fired longtime coach fire Phil Fulmer, what a travesty, bring back Phil!]

and mark my words, Lane Kiffin will:

[be fired before the end of fall camp]
[be fired during the 2nd quarter of the WKY game]
[go 0-12]
[never be respected in Pahokee, FL]
[forever be a loser]

Stay tuned for next week's column, where I will be taking potshots at none other than UT coach Lane Kiffin!

Quality work!

This may also be available as an interactive DVD for TV networks as it seems I've seen videos narrated using this template.

It's called syndicated content. WBIR doesn't even know the story is going to appear. They just feeds from various places to enrich the content of thier website. It just happened, that this particular feed had a Kiffin story in it.

Channel 10, WBIR, is a rinky-dink outfit in the minds of many. Not much of substance or quality at that station.

i really wish that all these nancies would shut the hell up and let him coach a season before they criticize him non-stop. it's almost as though theyve all forgotten the unheard of recruiting feat he already achieved without having coached a game. Bryce Brown anyone?
