I dont know if you guys have noticed but over the last 2 games, we have seen the maturation of Wayne Chism. He is playing physical and isnt backing down on offense and defense. Not only is he playing more physical but he is learning WHEN to play physical. I see a very bright future for him at UT.

He'll face some tough match-ups this week against Vandy. We'll get to see how physical he is.

Vandy physical? That's an oxymoron. Do you really think he'll face someone there more physical than Glen Davis?

Ya, Vandy's bigs are weak, I played against them 2 yrs ago, and had 19 on them, they are weak trust me.

Chism has also cut down on the 3's. I dont have a problem with him shooting good open looks, but it was getting to a point when he was shooting them with someone in his face.

On Wayne's facebook wall someone wrote about Glen Davis, and he posted back "That was a Big Guy (in not so white terms)"

He was only 3-10 though.

That is an understatement, regardless of the vernacular

Yes. Chism played tremendously well today. had a double double, something along the lines of 3/4 3's, two amzing dunks.

At the begining of the year someone on here said that Crews would be Frosh. of the year for the league. Right now he's only the 4th best Frosh. on the team. Not trying to put him down, but Smith, Tabb, and Chism have really stepped it up. Maybe we'll peak at the right time. Last year we peaked way too early.

Earlier in the year Crews was playing pretty well while Chism was coming along a little more slowly... the roles have completely reversed at this point.

Crews still has some things to work on. Ball control, shooting and defense to be exact. You will have to admit though, he is a freak of an athlete. Wayne is a more complete player, but he isn't as fast as a Crews. They are kind of like opposites in a way. Can't wait to see them both starting next year though.

Chism's dunk got 10th on the SC top 10 plays....I thought it was better than that, but atleast they're giving him/us SOME love

In summary, Crews needs to settle down and play. He's thinking too much rather than just letting it happen naturally. Pearl sees this and is letting him watch more from the bench.

All in all, I can't remember a more complete game played. Everyone did their job and the outcome was never in doubt. As for Duke, his time is coming once he is playing his natural position. Right now, while the iron is hot, bring on Kentuck and the Gators.
