There's a story about it on G V X.....

This could be a good place for Wayne to begin his career. Wish him the best of luck....

Great news, best of luck to him......though wasn't there a thread saying he had signed overseas?

He had an opt out clause in his contract with the team in Turkey if he were to catch on with an N B A team....

That's a tough decision.....guaranteed six figure income in Turkey or not guaranteed chance to make it on an NBA roster. Good luck whichever you choose!

Wayne will still go overseas if he doesn't make it.

Apparently, he will have to opt out of his deal in Turkey if he decides to go to training camp with the Kings. So, it might get tough for him if he is cut by the Kings again.

Looking at that roster, I just don't see him making it.

Even if he gets cut, I REALLY doubt it would be difficult for him to get another equally impressive European contract. This is a no-brainer, imho.

Griffith acts like it would be a risk in his article. But, considering the source, I would bet you are probably right.

They're extremely post heavy. The Kings will need him to be a 3/4 to make it, and at this point he doesn't have those skills. However, I would be shocked if he isn't on an NBA roster within one year.

the risk was stated by his agent

Karnes said that if Chism accepts the offer, he would likely have to opt out of the six-figure provisional agreement he was with a team in Turkey.
The Kings have offered some guaranteed money, but not a substantial amount.

I'd trust Jared before Griff any day

Absolutely. I must have skipped over that part in the article.

Do you have any idea why Griffith quit spamming us on here with his garbage blogs?

I agree. I think there will be a better situation for him.
