Obviously this isn't taking into account 2016 freshmen, but honestly I don't see many positions where a freshman is likely to start over an upperclassman. Either way, if this (or some variation of it) is our starting roster for 2016, what do you guys think of our chances heading to Bristol?

Note: A backslash means either player could hold that position. In other words, it's a toss up.

QB: Dobbs
RB: Hurd/Kamara
WR1: North
WR2: Malone
WR3: Williams/Smith
TE: Wolf,
LT: Richmond
LG: Kendrick
C: Weisman
RG: Robertson
RT: Thomas

DE: Barnett
DE: Phillips/Vereen
DT: Tuttle
DT: McKenzie
WLB: Reeves-Maybin
MLB: Bates
SLB: Berry/McDowell
CB: Martin/Moseley
CB: Sutton
S: Berry
S: Kelly Jr.
Nickel: Gaulden

I like your positive energy, particularly your implication that we don't lose any of our talented 2015 juniors (Dobbs, North, Smith, Sutton, or Reeves-Maybin especially) to an early run at the NFL draft!

Most likely this .. Also if North has a break out year he could be gone as well.

I'm just assuming they both stay. North would need a really big year to go pro after a mediocre last season. And with all the other receivers to share the spotlight, I don't see him having that kind of year.

Sutton could definitely be an exception though. He is one of the best corners in the SEC. But I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he stays to improve his draft stock.

It will be interesting to see how many players come back for their senior seasons. If we keep Dobbs, North, Sutton, and Reeves-Maybin in 2016, then we will be a serious playoff contender. If we lose all of them, we will be looking at a 9 win season. I'm really hoping that we keep Dobbs, North, and Reeves-Maybin. I'm less optimistic about Cam.

Sutton will be highest draft choice in 2016

Yeah injury free Sutton gone... He Hargraves and Poole from Florida and Jones from Auburn and Dennis from Mizzou or Conner OLE Miss will be top 5 corners in SEC this year.

Dobbs and his parents want him to get his degree. I know he could graduate early but honestly I could see him pursuing his masters as well. Dude takes school seriously. And unless he has an amazing, heisman contender year, he will be back for his senior year.

JRM is good, but his size will deter NFL scouts. He will need his senior year to prove to scouts he is for real Even at his size.

Overall, I like your prediction. I changed the OL mix. I also included Thomas, but he needs to get this legal mess straightened out. Kendall's length makes him a better fit at tackle. Sanders could also be a factor at guard.

If Sutton leaves, Martin and Moseley will be the CB starters. It's the depth that is the concern.

Even taking Sutton out of the mix, that would be a pretty sick D!!:rock:

Will be nice not to HAVE to start a bunch of Freshman for a change as well!

Needs to be listed as Bates/Kirkland at the Mike, IMO. Gonna be hard to keep DK off the field.

Move Thomas to center in slide Jack Jone in at RT and you've got it.

I feel pretty confident in calling Blair a bust that will not be a starter at UT.

Isn't Mixon at Tackle?
