Way too early 2020 Schedule

Schedule lines up well. I don't think WR will be an issue next year, I know JJ and MC leave, but there are some great ones behind them. My only question mark is QB. We got a bunch, we just need one to be Joe Burrow and we will have a great season. I'm calling for 10 wins, 2 heartbreaks, and 2 shockers!

Bonus Question: if you could improve the schedule above for 2020, what would you switch around to help Tennessee?

Would prefer to swap either Bama or Georgia with Florida; reasoning, Catch them early breaking in a new QB while Florida will have a returning starting QB so there is no advantage to playing them early

. 13 straight losses to Bama , 3 straight to Georgia and have lost the last 8 out of 10, 3 straight to Florida and lost 14 of the last 15. How are those not automatic losses at this point?

Because automatic losses are for losers. Why even watch if you don’t think there’s a chance?

This will be the first time for JG to have same OC for more than 1 year. Chaney will have JG ready to play in 2020 with HB warming up in the bullpen for 2021. HB will play in 4 games in 2020 and redshirt. IMO we win SEC East in 2022. We are getting closer.

No offense, but I don't subscribe to obvious automatic losses. Those are next years games, and we haven't lost them yet.
Agreed. Considering we had a chance to beat Bama this year had the officiating not been the most brazenly corrupt in the history of televised sports, it's more than a little silly to count that game next year as an automatic loss. Especially if Bailey is playing QB by then rather than the QB-who-shall-not-be-named, we should have a shot.

And, I will lay even money right now that we will win at least one of Oklahoma, Georgia, Alabama, or Florida. If we pick off one of Alabama, Georgia, or Florida, we will be in the race for the SEC East in November 2020.

Beating bama and losing to Georgia and Florida would do nothing for our chances to win the east.

Bama is in the west and has no effect on us winning the east unless we beat the other two

losing to Bama adds another SEC loss, so yes it does impact the SEC east standings. We can lose to Florida and Georgia, beat bama, and win the SEC with 2 losses if Florida and Georgia have 3 SEC losses. They play LSU/Ole Miss and Bama/Auburn and each other, so that is not out of the realm of possibility. Not sure why you think that playing West opponents doesn't impact the East standings.

If you still disagree, just look at the standings below. The conference records include wins and losses over teams from the West.
