I feel we will go 9-3 and possibly 8-4 if we stumble

Bowling Green W (Closer than people think. Maybe a scare but win by 17 or 10)

Oklahoma W (In Neyland and a OU team that is falling down a bit I think we squeak out a win)

Western Carolina W (Lol)

@UF L (until we beat them idk if we can)

Arky W (another small win that can be a possibility of a loss. This will be a dog fight)

UGA W (I think we lose control of Chubb but not many other experienced weapons for UGA and in Neyland equals a W. Also we always play them to a close game)

Bama L ( I think we will play hard but ultimately fall short. Close game)

UK W ( End the streak of two Ls and right the ship for November)

USCe W (Butch gets another on the old ball coach and move this train more and more down the tracks)

NT W (LoL)

@Mizzou L (Not feeling this game. Mizzou just seems to have our number)

Vandy W ( Should be an easy 14+ pt win, can't see a huge turnaround in Nashville)

I have 9 projected wins with us going 5-3 in the SEC. This can be a very good team and my projection will probably be wrong but this is what I think is accomplish able with where the team is at and will be after the offseason. Hope we can get maybe the OU win and Florida win switched but I'm not calling a UT W against the gators until I see it.

Don't get too cocky about Oklahoma. They only fell apart after they lost Knight for the year and their backups made Peterman look like Peyton. Knight absolutely destroyed us and will be healthy by summer.

Wouldn't candy be in Knoxville? And I think we finally get Florida but more than likely give up Georgia.

Well if he played like he did in the bowl game then I'm not concerned. They seem like Iowa was today. Fan base is not backing bob as much and I think we come out and make a statement against Bob.

The Oklahoma game will be tough, but a true sign of progress is, the last few years when people predicted 8 or 9 win seasons it was clearly done wearing orange shades. Predicting 8 or 9 wins now doesn't feel like such a reach. Future is bright on Rocky Top.

He didn't play in the bowl game. He went down at the end of October, which facilitated there meltdown. Their backups sucked.

I think that's possible...but I am feeling more 7-5 than 8-4. I think the Arky game is a L. But the Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma and Missouri games are close to being toss-ups for me...so anywhere from 7-5 to 9-3.

Don't LOL my alma mater (WCU). Yeah, Vols will easily win, but they led Bama 14-7 in the 2nd quarter and bring back 20 starters. Maybe they can challenge the Mocs this year

We will beat Oklahoma and Florida, but lose one we should not and go 9 and 3 and then win Bowl for the 10th win and then in 16 look out you will have a BIG ORANGE FREIGHT TRAIN RUNNING OUT OF CONTROL THAT NO ONE WILL STOP.:lolabove:

Bowling Green W
Oklahoma Toss up, I say W
Western Carolina W
Florida W (rebuilding FL means UT will gain streak momentum)
Arkansas W (This game will go down to how powerful the DLine is. Arky will NOT rip apart our secondary until they pound the tackles. A lot)
Georgia W (Arkansas, Part II) - UGA will depend on how we defend against the run

Provided we beat OU, UT will be #15 by Alabama I say
Alabama L (I unfortubately agree with this)
...then UT falls to #22
Kentucky W
South Carolina W
Missouri L - toss up, UT only does poorly here because of depth
Vanderbilt W - toss up due to injury

Probable total: 9-3, #17 overall AP

SEC East Champions with 6-2 SEC play, UGA is 2nd thanks to dropping Aubie, gets destroyed by Bama, and drops one more.

Alabama wins SECCG because UT can't handle depth issues...

I think it all comes down to how we do in the toss up games below : I think we can conceivably win or lose any of the 5. I predict we beat Florida next yr just like I predicted this yr. :)

Bowling Green W
Oklahoma L. Toss - up
Western Carolina W
Florida L. Toss - up
Arkansas W. Toss - up
Georgia W. Toss- up
Alabama L
Kentucky W
South Carolina W
Missouri L. Toss - up
Vanderbilt W[/QUOTE]

I agree with you except for the OK and Georgia game. And I refer to your reasoning behind the Florida loss, which I believe is sound. There is nothing beyond just good ol fashioned rootin tootin fanitude (Orange blinders if you will) that would suggest we could beat those teams. I'll feel better about us getting the upset though. But I wouldn't list those games as expecting to win. Also don't count out Arky next year. I think we get them but it could easily go the other way. I can see 7 wins as an improvement from this year and a realist approach. 8-9 and we are in the stratosphere. Jmo

My thing is UGAs QB situation. Ramsey has shown no pulse of being anything more than a guy to hand the ball off. Our defensive front seven will improve with more chemistry and new players. The biggest edge is being at home. We only play 4 away games all year. That's a huge help for the 8-4 or 9-3 year. 8-4 is the minimum for me.

They were already beginning to suck before they lost Knight.
