This was The Oklahoma Breakdown. One of the guys felt their defense would be key and their defensive line rushing our QB with criss-crossing stunts might be a factor. Well, he nailed it. We never could block them when they did that. Our line was poorly schemed and looked lost at times. Joey didn't have a chance. Add this to on the scoop and score result where we have a tight end that has no idea of how to wrap up the legs and tackle him, a sorry kicker that misses every kick when needed and looking like we weren't prepared for the challenge.

Brent Veneables isn't stupid. You put the film on of Aguilar and you notice if you move him off his spot he struggles, probably throws you a couple picks. Pressure up front was their gameplay and will be UF's and Vandy's too..

That last int was unforced and stupid, perhaps panic mode, it resulted in 3 the other way. Kitselmann needs to make that tackle and not fall down. Max needs to make 80% kick. Those three things and it's a whole different game.

Also, what gives with the running game last two weeks?

Love the upside of David Sanders, but blocking down on that sack strip fumble, while letting the outside guy have a free run on your QB and then not making any effort to tackle the DE who recovered the fumble was one of his worst plays as a Vol. Chalk it up to a freshman mistake.. we had a couple of those last night. Not to whine, but that play wouldn’t have mattered if the “lined up in the neutral zone” penalty was thrown…..
