Check out his hit on Tyrone Wheatley on 4th and inches. He was miked (sp?) up as well - it sounds awesome. Needless to say - he stuffed him. (and Wheatley is a big boy)

:rocks: :rocks:

Yeah, Wilson was just waiting on him and punked him as soon as he left his feet. That was a great play!

Al is in the top echelon of Vols ever. He was a coach on the field and demanded from his teamates the level of play he provided himself. One of the greatest Vols to ever lace em' up!

I was so happy that the Broncos landed Al on draft day at the end of round 1, I seriously thought that he wouldn't last to us.

His hit on Ricky Williams 2 years ago still marks his biggest hit of them all, this is a good 2nd though. Especially on a 4th and inches run that stuffed a 240 pound Tyrone Wheatley, it wasnt like he knocked out Justin Fargas or some other 5'9 170 pound back, Wheatley is big and Al put him flat down.

Reminds me of the MNF game, Chiefs vs. Broncos, the Nigerian Nightmare Christian Okoye comes storm up the middle and Steve Atwater lowered his shoulder and knocked Oyoke flat on his back, unbelievable hit.

Didnt mean to get off topic, but obviously the Broncos are my favorite team and have been forever, just glad that we have player like Al Wilson on this team.

I'm with ya, GoVolsDogg! I've been a Bronco fan since a kid. Wilson's hit was fantastic but losing to the Raiders in Denver and in the snow really sucked. Hopefully we can take down SD this week.

What ever happened to Marcus Nash? What a disappointment he turned out to be.

I agree completely. He demanded excellence. We need another guy like him on the team...

I always compared Al Wilson's role in the '98 team as 'imagine having a Peyton Manning on defense'. Heckuva competitor. He looks good in orange. Always has.

Cool man! I've been a fan of the Broncos since I started getting into the NFL. We gotta beat the Chargers this week or else it's no playoffs for us.

Marcus was a big bust though, I think he might be playing up in Canada now but never amounted to anything in the NFL.
