So I found a watch screen that’s really close to what I have. Right now I’m struggling because the gesture feature doesn’t work very well. I either have to keep the screen on or actual tap the face to see the clock

Yea. It installed an update this morning and says there’s no other updates, but I’m going to plug it into Garmin express and see it updates anything

there's apparently a major maps update that it's loading. If that doesn't work (and I don't know why it will change my issue), i'm going to turn "do not disturb" on, then turn it off again. See if that does anything. I feel certain it's a minor and/or setup issue and not a flaw, I just haven't figured it out yet

I don't know why it would be but did you check to see if the Sleep and Awake times are screwed up? I know my 955 during sleep I can touch it to wake it but gesture won't work.

All of that stuff copied over for me. And I dunno how, but it's working properly now. Maybe it's like Congress. It was a maps update, but they put a lot of other filler in there they don't tell no one.
