OU got more press out of the draft than Tebow. Yet looking over all those first rounders, how many BCS games did they win? Zero.

Sure, they won a few Big 12 championships, but let's face it, the Big 12 is a two horse league that takes an utter (no pun intended) collaspe for OU or UTexas to lose.

OU fans should be asking themselves, what has Stoops done for me lately? Lots of talent and lots of bowl game loses. Loses in the big game is becoming a theme - a label that Tressel proudly wears. It's been a decade since his national championship - how long is he parlaying that?

Uh. Stoops, not Tressel. And is this intended to come across as insanely hypocritical?

I love the irony of one of the primary Fulmer suckups calling out a guy who has won his league 3 of the last 4 years.

4 first rounders, 3 of first 4 picks, but only 6 total to this point. And 2 barely played last year.

Impressive, caught my eye, but turning out to not be a big deal, IMO.

More evidence that NFL draftees/ players has very little to do with the success of a college program and visa versa.

they got to the national championship... pretty darn good regardless of your conference.

OU was killed with injuries last year. Texas hordes all the talent and OU has still won the division 8 of 10 years. Not to mention 6 conference titles. How about we give the guy crap when he goes 10 years without winning the majority of the titles.

You're basically bashing a guy for losing national championship games. How many times has Stoops had to beat the best team in the country to win his bowl game? Or, as was the case a few years ago, beat a team that was so pissed off at their former coach that an NFL team would have had their hands full that night?

People used to say the same stuff about Bear Bryant in the 1970s. For years, Alabama would go 11-0 or 10-1 and then lose its bowl game. And they'd always be playing either the best team in the country or very close to it. Or Tom Osborne, for that matter. Did Osborne lose all those Orange Bowls to Miami because he was a bad coach, or because beating those Miami teams on their home field was like having to beat the Russian Army in the wintertime?

Love how the Fulmer hacks will call out other coaches struggles while failing to point out their hero's underachievements.

Oh the irony...you'd be suprised how many times I've heard fans in Oklahoma point out to me how many Vols are in the NFL and only 1 National title.

Stoops and Tressel are both great and get way to much criticism in my opinion.

They're big game flop artists. Both coach in weak leagues, beating up on the Poor Sisters of their conferences then lay an egg when it counts. They get by with out-talenting their opponents. Then when it comes down to coaching they are playing with a short deck.

Fulmer is long gone folks. Ya'll should move on with your lives. This is a thread pointing out a guy that had overwhelming talent in a downtrodden conference not winning a BCS game for nearly 10 years. $5MM+ a year ought to get you a BCS win, right?

Fulmer hasn't been a coach since you've been a member of this site. You should let it go.
