The Rose Bowl is a historic venue but I’ve always wondered if sight lines are bad. It’s shaped more like a saucer rather than a bowl, so a lot of the seats are far away and at a low angle.

Was there in 1997 and the view was fine from where we sat around 30 or 40 rows up. The stadium does not have a lot of modern amenities but the setting is remarkable.

Thanks for providing first hand experience. I wonder how the top rows compare to a more vertical layout like Neyland.
