For those that say, we have to have an elite defense to make it to National Championship games, let's talk about the Washington defense. Basically, it's average and our defense is better.

Pac-12 doesn't play any defense so it was a perfect setup. They're a good team. I think them and Missouri prove that you don't have to age a team like fine wine to have a chance at winning. You have to have some key players at certain positions and some solid guys. It's a tougher path but not impossible.

Having a great QB covers a lot of flaws. Having a great QB with great WRs covers even more.

He's questionable. I'd be awfully surprised if he ends up being healthy enough to make a difference in 6 days
In the championship have he was able to play through the pain because he was heavily drugged up. Seeing him at the end of the have though I'm concerned he's out. Aside from being a good back, something that wasn't really showcased last night is how good he is in pass pro

I think the Washington defense is a lot better than they’re being given credit for. Perfect example is that they finished last in the nation in passing yards allowed, so every assumes their pass d is really bad. However, they’re ranked 32nd in the country in pass efficiency defense. Which is a much better indicator of how good someone is against the pass. In 11 of their 14 games this season, they’ve held the opposing offense under their scoring average.

Not saying that they’ll win, but I’m a little surprised by some of the talking heads I’ve seen basically crowning Michigan already.

I've been saying it all year. People sleeping on Washington. It's not the team, it's that QB. Dude is a friggin winner. I honestly think they were the only team that can beat Michigan's defense, and by they I mean he.

Go Huskies.
Probably should have gotten the Heisman.

Does Penix catch his own passes?
Does he block for himself?
Does he play defense?
Does he play special teams?
Does he coach and call his own plays?

I await your response.

I would be kind of poetic if Washington won. Kinda like a tombstone for the late Pac-12.
I'll be pulling for Michigan, it's just wrong to pull for the taildraggers. They will be so totally like Ohio State fans if they win it's just unthinkable.

What's your point? Oh, it's not that mysterious.

Wanna make a bet that Penix will be the difference maker when they beat Michigan? If he doesn't get MVP I lose. How bout a years control of avatar bet on this forum?

Before you reply, just look at what UT did yesterday. They made a top 5 defense look weak with an offense that looked stale all year. All it took was a QB change. Single players make a difference especially the ones who touch the ball every single play.
