I know the Sunday after UGA we already had one scheduled, but I haven't heard if there was one this past weekend. Any one know?
I'm curious, because we know that HB took all the snaps in the scrimmage, and that Dee Beckwith flashed at running back.
Also, one of the commentators during UK mentioned it, and said the CJP told the he found 26 guys that could play and help the team (did anyone else catch that?).

Any word would be appreciated.
@DeerPark12 ?

Yes, or something of the sort, HB and BM both took reps. Pruitt referenced it in his presser.

Apparently Tamarion McDonald and Bryson Eason both looked good. They both got in the game against Ky and made a few tackles.

Interested in this question too. CJP said he found some guys who can play after last week's scrimmage.

Do you think that this "late find" may have something to do with the lack of practice time and limited ability to scrimmage before season due to C-19? I know, excuse, but could it have had an effect.

Absolutely. I think it had a major effect. I also believe that this staff putting "all their eggs in one basket" with JG in fall camp, after all of the ups and downs last year, is mind-blowing. They had to have had a plan in case: (a) JG reverts back to being JG; (b) JG is injured; (c) JG contracts COVID-19; (d) JG enters the transfer portal -----then what?

I agree. However with the lack of practice for the backups and the doubts of Bryan's mental and concussion problems I fear they just couldn't bring themselves to look beyond JG. If the new savior from Ga. had been able to work all spring and summer AND been able to work with the full team (scrimmage etc.) all of a full practice, then I think we would be seeing him know. What I don't fully understand is why he is not getting into games for appreciable time now. It has no effect on this eligibility as I understand it. (throwaway year). That is other than the "pressure to win now" that is the life force applied on the program by us fans.

There was a scrimmage on the Sunday following the Kentucky game. Brumbaugh wasn’t in attendance.
