And I noticed they have Rajion Neal listed as a TB. Has it been announced that he would move back to his original position? I personally think it would be a smart move with all the talent we have at WR now.

I have not heard officially, but like you just said, they are bringing in so much talent at WR, that would make me think so.:good!:

I agree...talented and fast. Needs to get some touches out of backfield and believe he will get a long look. Hold on to the frickin ball, tho!

It would be ideal. Borque sort of reminds me of Neal. It will be nice to just have some athletes at the running back position since we don't have a dominant runner. Lane is the closest thing and even he is more of the passing attack type RB. There will be lots of competition at RB for sure. We will be passing so much though that it would probably be better to have guys like Lane, Neal, Borque and Alton Howard at the RB position.

He would definitely cause some mismatches for opposing linebackers coming out of the backfield as a receiver, but he has to hang on to the ball better if the coaches are going to give it to him that many times a game!

I think he is a guy that can come in and help carry the load with Lane and one more person. I expect us to have a running back by committee this year with Lane being the number one guy and whichever two step up out of Neal, Smith, Borque, Toney, Hill, Waton

Neal is a team player who moved to WR to fill some needed gaps. He was the only production during the Ky debacle, and he will be play maker for us next season.

It is exciting to think how explosive we were when Hunter was healthy and that was without much production from Neal. Neal really came on strong at the end of the year and I think he really turned a corner. I think He's gonna be a huge weapon also! And when Hunter comes back next year, The team will have some legitimate PROVEN weapons. Just think about the possibility of someone else we're not thinking about having a break out year also. The possibilities are very exciting!

I agree, there are so many guys on the roster that could have a break out year. We finally have talent at every position, and talent behind the talent. Our possibilities this year and for the next couple years are through the roof!:loco:

Who isn't healthy? Last I heard Hunter is back, and Rogers had surgery but was gonna be 100% for spring practice. Am i missing something?

Hunter won't participate in spring practice. He'll be good to go for fall camp though. Without Patterson, Hunter and Howard for spring our WR corps will look totally different from spring to fall.

Obviously, this is Dooley's year to prove precisely how good of a coach he is. No more excuses. If he wants to be the coach at this University, this is the year he has to make a statement. With that said, let's go win the East baby!

Someone put some gorilla glue on this kids hands and he might be a terror as a RB in open space.

neal was strongly thinking of leaving last month. after convo with HC, he will be allowed to try RB again in spring. he wants to play RB. we will see what happens but he might still move on after spring if no happier.

we will see

A tailback who shift to a receiver position, gonna know the routes.

Agree. Neal should have the whole offense in his head well enough to play with effectively quick instincts. If he'll just think enough to hold onto the ball, he could be a rare wow player.

I agree that we must finish with a winning record (at least 7-8 wins + a bowl win) and show major improvement. However--I personally don't think CDD's coaching ability can honestly and fairly be determined until the 2013 season. He will then have had time to replenish the roster with his own recruits and had time to coach 'em up....

btw--I know that I'm in the minority...and I am a partaker of the DoolAid. :salute:
