He will be a Junior next year and probably start if he plays like he did at FSU.

Admittedly, I haven't read the article (yet), but I thought that he had to sit out two seasons because he left early from FSU (during a semester). But, he would be a junior.

He is at a community college i think to get his academics together so he can play next year. I think he will be a redshirt soph.

Guys, nothing is set in stone yet on when Warren can play. It's either 2008 or 2009, nothing sure yet.

I've probably seen this posted a million times before VIA, but could you please remind me of why we don't know and what factors play into whether he plays in '08 or '09? Is there still a NCAA hardship appeal pending or something? Is it one year for leaving early and one year for leaving - unless you get a hardship?

I am nowhere near knowledgable on this, but I think this is the case. He obviously feels like doing schoolwork at PSCC will help him get in for 2008.

He left in the middle of the semester and did not finish the year at FSU in good standing. Due to that, he will have to sit out two years until 2009. If he attends and completes a full year of junior college he would be eligible to play in 2008.

So from what Freak says, if he redshirts and just focuses on school, he could play for us in 08 and be a rSoph? Vol Freak that is.

I do not think you can redshirt at a JuCo but he could redshirt his Jr. year at UT like Mapu should have done.

You can redshirt at JUCO. Walter Fisher did, as do alot. This may be a different instance because of his situation, though. I'm not 100% for sure if he can or can't RS.
