Thing is, we will have Blu-Ray support for 360. I'm not worried about it at this point. Bill Gates has too much money not to get us support if HD-DVD dies.

I say in the next week I will have a PS3 for blu-ray, but one good thing about the 360 is the HD drive is external. So I foresee an external blu-ray drive in the future for the xbox.

Exactly. I am glad I listened to my buddy who went through the Betamax/VHS wars before I bought anything.

I have a HD drive.... I don't regret getting it, but I see it being a dust collector in the near future.

If someone is buying a BluRay player today, it's definately the way to go.

As far as gaming goes, it's a different story at this point.

Online gaming is better, larger game selection, great exclusive titles, achievements , XBL marketplace, XBL arcade, and the over all compatibility with networking it with Vista.

I prefer the PS3 because I am still a fan of Sony's exclusive titles, Gran Turismo, Final Fantasy and Metal Gear.

360 is better as a gaming system to most people, it just doesn't have those games that I have a connectin with.
