Stuff like that probably won't happen now. The game has just changed too much. I'm kinda glad too though, because honestly probably Florida and USC would probably be the biggest beneficiaries of this right now.

Nebraska in their hay day was incredible. That po dump produced National Championships and NFL players. If he could recreate that here, I would never be able to express my happines.

Florida is/was as good as it gets in this day and age the past few years. I guess that what happens when a group of players and a coach really work well together. Then when said coach is able to find his own players, a dynasty is born.

We have some good walk-on's starting this year in the Sullins boys "Cory and Cody" and also Nick Reviez is a former walk-on and also the safety who plays alot on special teams Derrick Furlow is a walk-on.

Also I forgot Nick's younger brother "Shane Reviez" is getting some PT on special teams and LB and will get more in the future.

I could see some In-state tallent walking on, especially if they have the heart. Kiffin's promise to play who is best and those that work the hardest. I could see it.

if the stone kid dosent get any D1 offers and i dont think he will, he would be great to prepare us for spread teams, i wish i had tried to walk on at UT or then possibley UVA or Uk which were my schools of intrest coming outa high school. even though i dont regert going to emory i got alot of PT untill i got hurt. plus i may have not meet my beautiful wife pictured in my avatar :D. but really its kinda a catch 22 in that spot.

but i promise you even the "VOL SQUAD" kids will be getting coached under this staff unlike the last, if Phil had *****ed at me for going to hard in practice i may have nailed him in the sack with a football.

i think any good walk-on program starts with a blitzkrieg of advertising during orientation and during the first week of school. That gets guys who are borderline scout team talent to try out before they start partying too hard.
