I am tired of you NEGAVOLS. How long have we had a full coaching staff? If you factor that in the equation you might be able to see how NSD was a successful day for us.
Don't get me wrong, I expect a drastic improvement next year, but these coaches have only had about a month and a half to do a whole years worth of recruiting. You can slam me for being optimistic if you want, but anyone that understands this process knows I am right.

Agree. After reading the esteemed opinions of people like susha and 5150 I would hate to see what they will say when we actually lose a game. I would assume the entire staff will need to be tarred and feathered and run out of the state on a rail. And yet, they never offer any insight into what they feel would be the right direction for the program. Who should have been hired instead, what their salary should be, who they should have recruited, who they didn't recruit. Some optimism is like a breath of fresh air after the last 5 years. Noone on this board should have to justify having a little hope that the future of our program is looking up.

As much as I agree with you, I don't think there is anything you can say to them that would let them accept logic. I enjoyed yesterday, and watching live as D Myles commit live was really the high point. The people who are upset because we didn't hang with the OSUs, LSU, and USCs are ignorant, and I fear we will still be forced to deal with them everyday on here.

They havent stopped worshipping at Phil's feet. Knowing that there isnt a good ole, homegrown, church-lovin, gatlinburg indian moccasin shoppin', orange-blooded head coach makes their skin crawl.

They would rather go down the tubes completely with a Tennessee boy then have a chance for something better with an outsider.

Is there any evidence whatsoever that Knoxville Phil could have even sniffed another National Championship...EVER? We werent even close. In fact, we were moving backwards. 1998 was a long time ago dude. The guys that signed yesterday with us were 7 years old.
