Recently attended a rugby match between hartford and bentley college up in massachusetts. After I was explained the rules about 25 times through the course of the game, it was pretty fun to watch.

I watched some Australian rugby game on ESPN2 about two weeks ago. I think the game is funner when you don't know the rules.

Yeah they are legit. I have a buddy whose brother is a captain and is getting interest from the USA national team.

I watched them beat Florida in a tourney at MTSU!... From my understanding they are just another one of UT's outstanding club programs, which would explain them not being on utsports. UT also has a monster club volleyball program. From what I hear tho they are experimenting with making Rugby an actual school team.

We've had a team since the 70s, my dad was one of the founding members. It's a club that anyone can join, but if you suck obviously you're not going to play. We go on trips to play teams across the nation. Been to Michigan, Clemson, etc...

And, Tennessee has been highly nationally ranked before... 6th back in 2003... and they are good now.. which is why they are in the 7s tournament.

CLub but have legit roadtrips...uniforms..opponents etc. I hope rugby and mens lacrosse get varsity status soon.
