W new transfer rule ... time to target a QB to go after

All I know is if I was a good receiver with a lot of offers, unless I had sentimental ties to Tennessee, I would not want to come here with the current QB situation. It would take a lot of discipline to put in all that work and run your routes 110% knowing the ball probably won’t be coming your way or to one of your teammates you could block for. You can see the receivers’ frustration many times on the field after the errant throws or turnovers. Hyatt took a pretty good shot from Kentucky on that one pick 6 the other day on the run back. Glad he didn’t get hurt.

I’m more worried about who we are gonna lose under the new transfer rule. The wheels come all the way off this bus and we could lose our best talent. Under the new rules HB could transfer anywhere and play immediately with 4 full years of eligibility...and we have some sophomore studs like Gray, Toto, Morris, Wright, etc who could go as well...new rule will make firing coaches more interesting. People on Volnation may hate our coaches but these young men will be free to leave and follow them...just a new variable to deal with.

This is why they have to get Bailey ready. He threw a hell of a sideline route to Wideman, but didn’t do well after that. Chaney’s play calling and poor oline play is as much a problem. UT should be running the ball 65% of the time. They’d be much better running an offense like UK.

And even if Bailey turns out great, we gotta have a quality backup. If Bailey were to get injured, we are in serious trouble.

Get this out to all the recruits maybe you can get them to go elsewhere!

We should be able to get a legit QB with the new transfer rules about to go into effect.

Unless someone completely steps up and dominates we need to bring someone with experience in.

We've got one of the top high school QBs in the nation on our roster now and the idea is we bring in a QB from another school cutting his knees out from under him? Good luck bring in anything above a 3 star player in the future.

It didn't stop Lincoln Riley for 3 straight years. I'd day he's figured the whole point scoring thing out.
If Bailey is good enough then he'll beat the transfer out.

Winning cures all.
You would take a Joe Burrow.

You take that chance, even if it is to improve your backup QB situation.
