After the Vols shaky overtime win against Appalachian State, can Vol coaches get team 120 ready to play and not get out schemed and out coached by VT?


VT appears to have a very very good new HC and everyone knows the challenges a Bud Foster coached defense can present.


Who wins this coaching Battle @ Bristol?

1. Butch Jones/Bob Shoop

2. Justin Fuente/Bud Foster

CJF is obviously talented. I just hope that shoop defense shows up for all 4 quarters.

I would like everyone scared of CJF because he beat Ole Miss take a look at the last game Ole Miss played and get back to me...

Hmmm...Aubbie won 31-10 over his Memphis squad. W/out a QB. Memphis only TD was on and Pick 6. Granted Lynch probably already had his bags packed for NFL. Held Memphis to 200 yds in total offense.

Jones and Shoop win this. Of course with the win, it will be noted that JF is a new HC so the win wont really be valid or quality. Lose and well it will be Butch, UT football and now even Shoop sucks. So basically typical everyday VN.

Basically this is a no win situation for Butch Jones.

This game is like an opener. Neither staff is really sure what they will see.

I imagine the O-Line will play nasty Saturday. They have watched the film and I'd imagine their pride is hurting. That being said Shoop will be the reason we win. The man is a guru when it comes to play calling. We are going to wreak havoc and cause turnovers, book it.

Until he gets over the hump of Florida and/or Alabama, he'll never get the credit of being a good coach

And thats stupid beyond belief. What he has accomplished at Tennessee after following Kiffin and Dooley is nothing short of great.
