I wish so badly that many of these athletes with truly special abilities would realize that making it as a pro is a long-shot at the very best. Perhaps perspectives would change as it relates to education, work ethic, team chemistry, etc.

Came a long way from Feather River College and asked if he needed to bring his own cleats to practice, to giving his all for UT... VFL hope he lands on his feet.

I remember when Patterson was drafted and Pearson signed scholarship papers to play with the Vols. People on here were hoping that he was gong to have the same impact that Patterson had on offense and on special teams. Didn't live up to what we had hoped BUT he was a very valuable player for the team.

This...I was like wtf after reading through the first few posts. Bunch of ****ing haters on VN. Yes, it is an internet forum filled with a bunch of passionate fans (some more intelligent than others, some more sober than others) so criticism will occur and rightfully so at times...esp when it concerns the coaching. However, when it comes to hating on the players...some criticism is expected, but to not even mention anything ab VP's skills but just making blatant insults. Embarrassing and ignorant. :finger3:
