Ginn is not a good route runner at all. All he has is speed NFL bust. Yes, I do like crow from time to time

As highly as he's projected to go in the draft, he has a ton of work to do on his route running...not quite as physically imposing as you'd like you're #1 wideout to be either.

Am I the only one who thinks he projects better as a corner in the NFL?

he certainly has the speed for corner. this might not be a bad idea to at least try him there

That was originally what he was recruited to do. He was just ungodly fast so they put him where he could immediately make plays

Return game is where he(Ginn) has to be good at, at least in his first few years. Like somebody else said, he is not physical. He should have stayed at OSU, IMO(I'm not a big fan of entering early) He just ran past corners in college, it won't be as easy in the NFL. But not trying to down him tho, best of luck to all of the players that entered into the draft.

I'm not NFL teams are too worried about selecting players that would be good financial deals, especially in the first round. If that were the case, the Texans would have drafted Vince Young and the Titans would have taken Jay Cutler...

I surely know the team's need always goes very first. I am just thinking based on Kiper's projection, if Titans would draft a WR, if Meachem could get the speed advantage, and if those three WR had basically the same on-field value, Meachem would have an upper hand. By the way, Texans didn't need a QB last year, Jay Cutler was the consensus 3rd QB last year, if Titans took him at the third pick, we should be shocked, and he's not even that popular in Tennessee.

Meachem to Titans would be nice but i dont think Meachem will be of immeditate help and will need a warm up year or so, and Titans will need immediate WR help this year if they dont keep Bennett and Wade, unless Givens decides toplay better. Also 2nd/3rd round selection for titans would be nice to see even Wad go to tians, they need CB depth.

I just don't like Meachem to the Titans.

Does anyone have a link to Jonathan Wade and any Sr Bowl notes on him?

Just saw where Kiper had Meachem going 25th to the Jets, Sears 31st to the Bears and Harrell 32nd to the Colts.

I know this is before the combine so alot can change, but this surprised me a bit. Good for the guys though.
Wow.I want be surprised if Meach goes higher(teens).

From Scott Wright, over at nfldraftcountdown.com, about Wade's senior bowl performance:

Jonathan Wade of Tennessee actually looked pretty good, especially late in the week, and is probably moving up draft boards

Do you guys think Corey Anderson will be drafted?

Where do you think Marvin Mitchell gets picked, what round?

Corey Anderson all depends on the combine. Middle of the second day.

Marvin Mitchell is really no different than Anthony Schlegel and he was drafted in the 3rd round, so Mitchell could go 4th-5th rounds but most projections have him as a undrafted free agent

The way Troy Williamson has turned out will probably throw up red flags for Rice

I dont think so, Remember Troy Williamson only played in the Holtz era, Rice only played in the Spurrier era. Besides, one man's failure does not lead to another especially when they never played each other. Expect Rice to be middle to late 1st round pic.

This is one thing I agree with you on. Troy Williamson's stock only rose dramatically because he ran a 4.3 at the combine, maybe lower. Rice is already considered by most a first round pick and has been for some time,

No I know Rice will go in the middle of the 1st round. I'm just saying that once one player from a school does not go on to do very well, it sets the bar for others from the same school and playing the same position, regardless of if they deserve it. Like Tedford coached QB's or the belief that Texas players did not make good pros (Roy Williams, VY and Ricky Williams to an extent killed that) . Watch Dwayne Jarrett fall on draft day and all the ESPN people say "He dropped because of the way Mike Williams flopped". Not saying they deserve it, it is just the way it is done.

Playing for Spurrier does not help his cause, look at all the great receivers he put into the NFL :) None about like the good QB's he put in the NFL (Grossman is up for debate, he quits making stupid throws and riding a D for half a season and he will not be considered a flop)
