I like that the Texas A&M vs LSU game won't matter. No way either of those can pass us with a win on saturday. (Unless we lose)

The million dollar question:

Will a win over vandy be worth more in the eyes of the committee than the sure beat down Auburn is about to face?

Everything I've heard so far is that if Florida loses to them in Atlanta they wouldn't penalize Florida further for that loss. Is the same expected if/when Auburn loses?

Yes, that will be their 4 th loss, so they will fall.

Coaches Poll needs to be abolished. AS usual is this weeks head scratcher- The poll has UNC at #25 and Va Tech unranked. Both 8-3 and Va Tech beat UNC 34-3.

We need to win big. Florida needs to lose to FSU for a little insurance. Alabama will Alabama and own Auburn. JMO of course

What if Florida beats FSU and Bama, Auburn beats Bama, we would be the 4th ranked team in the SEC AND the SEC would be out if the Playoffs!

We need to win by 14-20 Saturday. I feel like unless you're in the 8-10 with an outside shot at the back end of the top 4 style points don't really matter but it's rivalry week so might as well pour it on if the opportunity presents itself.

I agree that we need to beat candy by at least 14 to have a chance. If FL beats FL ST we will need to win by 30. AL should beat Auburn and that will take care of them. Just FL after that. I will not lie it is going to be hard to blow Vandy out. I feel we will win just not sure we cover.

I agree. Vandy won't be a pushover. They're always motivated to play us. They will be even more motivated after beating Ole Miss and needing that 6th win to get bowl eligible. FSU could provide us a little insurance if they win and do it convincingly. I just don't see Florida beating Alabama. I said the same about them beating LSU though and we see how that went.

Nope. In all honesty, it might even be better that LSU loses now also.

A&M isn't going to jump up from unranked to 14th for beating an unranked team, and it makes one of UF's wins look just a bit less shiny.

Its Auburn's 4th loss. They'd have to lose in maybe 6 OTs for it to drop them less than 3 spaces.

Note LSU for comparison: LSU was ranked #16 and lost to a ranked UF by less than a TD at the goal line, but it was their 4th loss...they plummeted more than 9 spots out of the polls.

And that's not factoring in that a UT win still likely moves UT up at least 1-2 spaces.

If everything goes as Vegas predicts, we'll be in the Sugar Bowl.

1. We should beat Vandy.
2. Alabama should beat Auburn.
3. Florida State should beat Florida.
4. Alabama should beat Florida.


We're 4 results away from the Sugar Bowl.
