Vols to stop wearing Smokey Grey unis...

I'm a tradition guy. Want to change something, fire that DJ. Play Rocky Top all freaking day long. So much that our home opponents fall on their knees and beg us to turn it off. How cool to actually get a forfeit because the other team couldn't stand to hear Rocky Top again.

Totally ok with giving the kids the gray jerseys and being done with that. A reminder of a terrible season.

Go Vols!

So let's cater everything to what you pick and choose? Fire a guy that is working to support his family, who actually works before the game when the band is not even there, because you don't approve of him? Tradition didn't start when you showed up to campus. Once upon a time, people like you whined when they wanted to put a big T on the sides of the helmets.

I don’t think we should get rid of the Greys . We’ve had some good wins in those Unis, but people are mostly associating them with the UGA game and their feelings towards Butch. Recruits love them, and that’s obviously the life blood of any program. That and winning.

I'm almost 48 and I love tradition (I want cut-off tear aways back).....but I could care less about what alt. color jersey's are worn. If today's generation/recruits like smokey grey, orange helmets, black jerseys, or a checkerboard helmet......I'm all for it (if it improves the quality of enthusiasm/play/recognition of UT football)

Personally, I think the cheerleaders and dance team need to get costume and choreography ideas from the local strip clubs, but that might be going too far.

Exactly. At the end of the day they are the ones suiting up and taking the field.

Fans always feel entitled.

“Their stadium, it’s 102,000 people every Saturday,” he said. “That’s a big stadium, man. It’s the biggest one so far. And they’ve got really nice jerseys."
