Again, the touchdown call was purely subjective. I probably would not have called it a touchdown but I wasn't there with that angle.

SEC has admitted that in the 2004 game officiating mistakes were objectively made on both the personal foul penalty and then the clock debacle that followed.

The two calls in the different games had similar consequences, yes, but they aren't comparable in the screw-up sense.

even if it was a bad call, it was still a great finish.

you dont see kickers miss the extra point for the tie and a minute later nail a 50 yarder for the win.

the controversy makes the finish more exciting.
