Sherridan's odds must come out later today but usatoday.com's Live Odds page has us opening at +4.5

So, will it go up, down, or stay the same?

Let's hope it goes up...We play much better when we're under dogs than when we are favored

I hope it goes up. I would like to be atleast a 7 point dog, double digits if I had my choice.

I bet it goes up. With the decent numbers UF's offense has put up in their first 2 games and the fact that UAB gave us a bit of a scare, I'd say that alot of folks will be putting money on UF to cover.

Just IMO.

I don't get into point spreads too much because they don't seem to come true as much as they used to.
I don't think our players pay any attention to it, nor does Florida's. We should be so focused on going down there and taking the SEC East by the balls that a point spread shouldn't have to get us motivated.

The first move and the late move are the ones to watch.....see what it goes to tomorrow! Early money is the experts......and late money knows something! I have a feeling it will go to 6-6', if it gets to 7, mortgage the house on TN!

I love to see that line move high, then everybody is sick when that Big Dog WINS!!!!

Odds makers know how this game usualy plays out. Well you would assume they do?

My guess would be 3 1/2-6 by game day? Either way as long as the media keeps labeling us as the dogs we'll be fine! :good:

I'll agree that the Vols usually play well as dogs, but I still like it...

I remember we were 14 point underdogs to this team called miami, who had the longest home winning streak until the vols without a chance came to town, and then there was this team last year called georgia that no one was giving us a chance again, oh yeah there was also this Texas A&M team which was said to be too physical for us. I love being the underdog, we play more focused

5.5 as of today, but who cares? The game will be in Gainesville, not Vegas.

Yep, and don't forget the holy grail - 2001 in the swamp, VOLS 18 point underdogs and the game perceived as merely a formality for the gators on their way to the SECCG. And who won...? VOLS BABY!!
