I will again refer to Rocky Top Talk, as their latest article goes into how our offense performed last year versus our worst enemy. We actually had the 3rd most yards per play against the Gators' defense last year after Michigan and LSU, and I believe they had sustained some significant injuries by the time they played those two as well. Debord was actually calling a good game, and we didn't see that patented conservatism till late game.

I realize threads on this general topic have been proliferated ad nauseam, but I think this should serve as a reminder that our offense can perform well against this defense. We'll see how it goes this year, Go Vols.

From the Florida perspective, their inability to tackle Dobbs when they had their hands on him is the biggest thing they need to improve this year versus last. Dobbs' ability to break tackles, make people miss and avoid bad plays with his legs is what had UT in a position to win this game last year.

I don't think UF had a healthy enough respect for Dobbs' running game going in to the game last year, rest assured they do now. Dobbs ran wild, and I'm sure the replays of him escaping tackles and making runs has been a major point of emphasis this week for UF.

As I recall last year, we were successful with gadget plays.

We were unsuccessful in getting off the field on 4th down.

We corrected that by getting Jancek off the team.
