Vols need homerun threat at receiver

From everything I am reading it sounds like Berry should just play WR as well as CB, KO returner, and situational QB.

May have to be berry.Noone is seperating themselves from the pack.I expect rogers,briscoe,maybe hancock to start the year.Freshmen receivers rarely make any impact.Best hope is vinson's light comes on and he suddenly gets it.Maybe o'neil rediscovers his hands and starts using them to catch footballs instead of throwing fists.Running game is the key to the year,and better D-line play.We get those things we might play in a big bowl for a change.

O'neal will be fine. I'm more worried about Vinson. It seems like he hasn't studied the playbook enough.

I will be majorly disappointed if O'Neal doesn't become a contributor very quickly. You don't give a scholarship to a JUCO guy so that he can watch the game from the sidelines.

He'll be alright. Don't forget two things... 1. He hasn't been here that long. 2. The speed of the game just jumped up tremendously. Juco to SEC! I have complete faith, give him time. :rock:

He shouldn't have much of a problem adjusting to the speed of the game.

Well he did play at FSU in the ACC as a true freshman. It might take a while for him to get used to it again but it shouldnt take long.

o'neal will be fine he dropped one td pass u all act like he just cost us a national championship he will be fine i know one person who would be upset at the volnation if he was here...allen iverson practice? were talkin about practie man? :lol:

Its probably stupid, but NCAA 08 has Berry as one of the best athletes on the team. Certainly along with Coker, he's got the most speed. Oh wait...No more Coker? Well then Berry it is. And you know what they say about speed.

Its addictive.
