Vols need an offensive minded HC

As all of us can see The Vols have the worst offenses and one of the best defenses in the SEC. I think it's pretty clear that we need a new, fresh, offensive minded coach. Here are some people that i think would work great as a compliment of Chavis's defense:

Chris Peterson (Boise St.)
Mike Leach (Texas Tech)
Major Applewhite (Texas)
Chip Kelly (Oregon)
Dave Christensen (Missouri)

i think they'd all help the vols wailing offense

I would never retain Chavis or consider supporting any of those candidates. Sorry, but I think we can do much better. Major Applewhite's last venture into the SEC was pretty forgettable.

Majors only offered support of Chavis because it afforded him an opportunity to demean Fulmer.

he could have found plenty of ways to demean fulmer. it was no coincidence that it involved chavis.
