I thought Dooley was supposed to have been bringing in a bunch of smart genius types.

But we are slow, small, and at times pretty dumb on defense. Have been for at least two years now. I believe the players and certainly the fans knows well what he means.

We need more Al Wilson type driven, nasty players on Offense and Defense and get rid of the Tyler Bray type self absorbed, "whatever" players that are out there now waiting for their NFL careers to be handed to them.

I can't believe some of you folks are still bashing Tyler Bray he played for DOOLEY. Heck if I would have played during Dooley's era I would have had that attitude. Any player that played for Dooley got rob what else needs to be said.

He was a cancer on this program. A self absorbed person who put himself over the team. Yeah he had a strong arm and was a good thrower but the coach is the coach and his continual battle with Dooley was one of the bigger reasons this team stunk under Dooley. He was no leader when he should have been. If he didn't like it here, he should have transferred. We are so much better off w/o him now and we should all just forget who the heck he was.

What are they going to do, challenge him to a shower discipline contest? The current players have no room to talk about anyone. We have seen almost four solid years of them folding like a lawn chair when things get tough. Obviously that isn't true of all of the players, but it was enough to bring us the worst stretch of football in school history.
