Does anyone know the low down on Wyatt? I know he was injured last year but this year seemed to be shrouded in mystery

Zane Denton too? Last I heard he had personal problems or something but was working himself back but disappeared and I never saw anything else.

Didn't miss a thing. All know locker room can be tough. An,apparent, assumption(?) that contributed to his departing.
You still don’t get it. I didn’t assume anything because I don’t know what happened.

I think everyone knows my stance on this portal nonsense. If a kid is not seeing the field and leaves for an competitive opportunity, so be it.
When an all conference, 3 year starting defensive end leaves just because, I can’t get behind that.
And that goes for guys coming to Tennessee as well.
I am not a fan of the current state of the portal and think it’s hurting college athletics.
JMO.

I think it may be that you are just closer to baseball. (Not that that's a bad thing.) But Baron's case was, as PM just put it, "best for all." There was a long history there. I don't know if you've followed it since, but he has now transferred 3 times this off-season since he entered the portal from here. I was always rooting for him when he was here. But it is what it is. I think we will be fine at SDE, even improved.

But was it really “best” for Baron? Seems to me it’s been a disaster.
How’d you know I was talking about Baron?😁
I was trying to be vague...

Hit the news here in Louisville that he was disrupting the locker room with NIL talk…bragging about all he was getting and telling guys to go with his agent etc,,..Brohm sent him and his brother packing fast…I’m sure the same cancer was prevalent in Knoxville

Btw..you should have stopped by and said hello at one of those little attended non Vols games this past weekend…

I know, I missed the opportunity to meet you guys. I was trying to keep up with my boy, this past weekend was exhausting!

Not a fan either but is the situation..

You adapt to it or die.

Dabo is the current case study.

An unfortunate aspect of dealing with 40ish individuals in baseball.

In his freshman year, thought Wyatt was the next Xander.

Best of luck! Hope the injury woes are all behind him. #VFL
